The Clarence Players drama group was formed in 1931 as the Dramatic Art Section of CIYMS. The Players have been appearing at Drama Festivals, Summer Theatre Seasons and Belfast’s famous Group Theatre for over 50 years with plays such as Michael MacLiammoir’s Ill Met By Moonlight (1957); Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman (1962) and A View from the Bridge (1990); Alan Ayckbourn’s How the Other Half Loves (1982) and Brian Friel’s Translations (2004).
